I don't think touch hd support 850mhz. So we are out of luck in NZ. There won't be many new model of WM that support 850mhz. Palm pre gsm won't be released soon. So we are stuck. Hell

There is an 850MHz UMTS variant of the HTC Touch HD - and many other Windows Mobile based phones for that matter- have a look on the Telstra site.

One news showed some of the handsets tonight. I saw the Sony and a couple of Nokia's (including the e51 I think).

Telecom is only world first in W995a, but not the W995...

it's like saying, "we will be selling the world first phone, but in the colour black"...
same model dimwits! not even much of a difference!
