Oh boy I love this phone - HTC sync is the worse piece of software ever and I'm one of those windows 7 64 bit outlook 2010 users. arrrrgh!

I use win7 x64 and Outlook 2010 and HTC Sync works fine. Never had any issues.

Looks like the price on MobiCity has gone up, but I still ordered a Desire NextG to use on XT.
In case the last coupon code stops working, I got another one - TYV20

Does MMS work correctly with the desire? Not that i'll use it...

Also any way to use the WAP APN or w/e to get 0.facebook.com unmetered?

Yep MMS works. Not sure about the Facebook thing. Interested in knowing that myself though.

OK I downgraded outlook to 32bit and it seems to work.

Now Froyo wheres that at?

No one knows :P Probably some time in the next few months. Google only just released the source, so HTC will take a while to incorporate the Sense interface.

Anyone got the tworld thing working?
I go to pda portal and click your account and it just times out.

I read on nealr's blog about the iphone and something about logging in but all I see is yahoo xtra login.

I setup the APN's exactly as it has them in the sticky thread. Is this right? Yet to test mms.
Internet is working (using it to post this using swype which is awesome).

has anyone checked their phone for an update? Settings
-->About phone --> System Software updates?
It says that there is an update avaliable that will take the phone from 1.15.405.4 to 1.21.405.2. Has anyone applied this? and if you did, did you have to rename it to update.zip and move it to the root of the sdcard?

I haven't got it because i'm running a custom ROM, but if you use the built in updater it's all done automatically.

Oh, there's also a new sticky for the android APN's too if anyone is having problems (thanks freitasm)

And 0.facebook.com appears to work too

Oh Ok - Followed your thread over at Modaco; and you installed the custom ROM described here
I have only updated it; to the first level - I.e get rid of the telstra crap. Not sure if I should wait for FroYo or go for this custom ROM installation? any recommendations
