Can anyone confirm if they have successfully managed to use their HTC Touch Pro 2 as a Modem for say a notebook? Is the supplied cable all that is required? Is the modem facility available via Bluetooth? I?m only asking to justify the purchase price. If I can use the TP2 as a modem for my laptop then I do not have to purchase a Datacard?
works perfectly for tethering.. done it both on telecom xt and vodafone :-)
what you do is connect to the net on the touch pro 2 first.. then connect to your notebook via the usb cable... the phone then prompts with 2 options.. active synch or internet sharing.. choose internet sharing and you're golden :-)

cant confirm re the bluetooth option as havent tried that.. yes the supplied usb cable is all thats required.
