Hi
I was under the impression data usage was counted on a per-line basis with Telecom, would this be correct? i.e. not per user name? The only reason I ask is because I am away from home, house sitting, and I plugged my old wireless router in and got my static IP- the only odd thing with that is I also left my connection on at home which would also be assigned this IP if going by the login name- which it was. I have since removed the username from the modem where I am house sitting just to be safe (don't know if there are simultaneous session charges with telecom adsl or what) - but it would be good to know if I could continue and use my own data rather than the olds' (not that I do much online, and they said I could use it, but if I wanted to use quickflix or something..)
So, my question is, is data still charged at a per line level rather than the user name entered on the modem?
