Telecom 'ready to fight'

Telecom set out terms for a "back-room deal" with the parliamentary select committee that was considering Government legislation to unbundle the local loop, putting forward a detailed plan for its division into three operating businesses, while warning it was up for a fight if its concerns weren't addressed.

However, it looks like the Select Committee didn't buy into Telecom's arguments, apart from the no structural separation option and retail-minus pricing.
