The data will cost you exactly what it tells you on their website. Ie 200mb love bytes for $4 for the week. Plus data addon if you need more, $1/25MB $4/120MB $8/600MB. Everything can be topped up changed etc online once you get registered. Why don't you have a look around their website sometime?

Slightly related: Has anyone been having connectivity issues with skinny's mobile internet?
I've thrown a Skinny sim in my HTC Desire this week for extra data, it works flawlessly on telecom but probably around 3 times ive had the internet on it cut out for certain periods. Yesterday it wouldn't connect data at all and i just put my telecom sim back in and used that instead for the rest of the night. Today it cut out around 18:36 to 19:08 for me. I think it may have cut out earlier in the day as well when i was up the mountain (Turoa skifield) but i can't be totally sure of that.
First proper go using skinny, its been good aside from these random cut outs.

I've been having lots of data outages recently too, right now it's not working, no data since around 1pm. I don't expect 100% uptime but these outages are getting more and more frequent.

Ah so it wasn't just me. I thought it was strange, because i get good reliability with XT's always on data connection in most cases.

Glad i'm on telecom :D

Hi

We have a change going in tonight to resolve intermittent data availability issues so please do post if you have any more.

It should be fine now - if you are still having problems then please try a reboot (or airplane mode) to ensure a new session starts.

There is one other data problem we are aware of and are working on where some people get an out of quota message following use of social media sites, even though they have quota.  Again this is an intermittent fault.

Cheers

Paul

Thanks, has been solid for the last few days.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

A fix went in last night for this issue.  Cheers Paul.
