I have successfully upgraded my Toshiba L650 to Win 8 Pro from Win 7 Pro with only one current problem,
my T stick and TNZ Connect Me Dashboard and or the Smiths Micro Dashboard.
The MF636 blue LED comes on, but both the dashboard programs say 'No Wireless Device'
Have tried all the usual call centers but they seem to think the stick is not compatible with Win 8, I hope this is not so.
Any help or information would be gratefully appreciated.
Thank goodness for free monthly 1gig of cellphone data and WiFi tethering..

You need to look at the packaging the device came in and this will list supported operating systems if you don't have that look at the Telecom NZ site I am sure this will list it

After trolling the Telecom Mobile Broadband site and not finding a specific statement about the stick being Win 8 compatible I can only conclude that it is not, mind you it's a few years old, guess I'll have to get a new stick...buggerCry

Issue is not the stick but the software that runs the stick it will need new drivers

I have successfully run Connect ME on my Windows 8 x64 laptop, you can download the latest version from http://telecom.co.nz/connectme

I will post a guide when I get home tonight if you're still having problems with getting the whole thing to work of how to get it working, it /should/ be a matter of just installing the updated software then plugging in the stick but not all computers are made simple >.<

Great news guys, all is well and my T stick is working well, thanks to the link to Telecom, I had that dashboard and used the check for update check but it found none.
Clear the old version via add/remove ran up new software without stick in, inserted stick and it all worked.
Now to find out where IE 10 is hidden, have had a few problems today with Firefox not wanting to fill forms, but that is another story, using Opera.

Once again thanks very much for your help...
