I just changed to telecom from Vodafone and went on their $19 prepaid package.

I can use google maps, facebook app browse the internet etc but I can't download any updates or new apps from the google play store, I get a 403 error which I believe is access denied.

It looks like .exe files a possible blocked, I got the APN settings from a text sent to me by telecom.

Any suggestions.

Dion

Telecom doesn't restrict anything based on your plan, so I suspect that the APN settings aren't correct. I don't know whether this is an Android feature or a Nexus feature, but if you do a "reset to defaults" in the APN settings then it will hopefully put the correct Telecom settings in there.

Phone make/model and Android version.

Your APN shouldn't be blocking this if you can access other sites.

Sweet that did the trick, it deleted the TelecomContent APN settings and just left the TelecomMMS APN settings.

You should not just be using the Telecom WAP APN as this will use only the Telecom WAP Gateway

You should only require 2 internet and WAP Gateway for MMS, No reason for loading all 4
