has anyone got a contact in Telecom that handles Telecom's email systems group wide. We had an external ip change two days ago and since then all mail traffic to telecom is being dropped. This includes Chorus and Gen-i. I guess they have some form of sfp or spam detection that is looking at our old mx record and dropping mail accordingly but trying to find someone that even knows what an mx record is is proving hard.
reply off line if that helps
Thanks

Remember, it's a robot and it's triggered on some keywords.

As for the OP I'm changing the subject a little from the original.

Send me an email pl at telecom.co.nz with all the details, as I know the team who deal with the mail gateway and can flick it onto them.

Do you have a SPF record for your domain??  If that's wrong then I would say that's your problem.  Always worth talking to your DNS provider a few weeks before a major IP address change and get them to take the TTL on your domain down to 1 hour or something so you can make rapid updates.

That is not the problem it is sending to a Telecom network that is the problem not receiving.
