Is it just me, or is telecom running slow of late? the router is synced at 18m but browsing is horribly slow.

Yes, I have also noticed a degradation in service lately.

I know of no particular issues, however it's very very very very very very very very hard to figure out if anything is wrong from "is telecom running slow of late?"

Personally, I'm getting 40mbps to our speedtest server 24*7

Cheers - N

I'm getting slower than usual speeds to the US as well... Speeds to Aussie and national are fine. There's probably nothing I can check right now but it's likely to be back to normal in 30 minutes or so. I will follow up in the morning but there's no guarantee I'll be able to report back exactly what the issue was (if there was even an issue IN OUR NETWORK)

Cheers - N

ps. Still... "is [ISP] running slow?" is a terrible fault description :-)

Connection to the US with Xtra has been basically dead for the past few hours :(

Hi guys. This was due to 'an outage' in Northern California that occurred at about 9:30NZtime and the impact to our customers was gone by approx 1am. The underlying issue in the US has now been resolved as well.

Cheers - N

As has been said, it was slow isn't very useful. Can you give specifics, speed tests, modem stats, etc? You may have specific problems unrelated to the fault above.

Yeah it was real slow, but the problem seemed to go away when I went from 14mb dsl to 100mb fibre, the problem cleared right up
