Afternoon all

I signed up for a new broadband/phone connection with Telecom on Thursday, and received a confirmation of connection for next Tuesday. Yesterday I received a text to advise that broadband would be connected by Monday "and broadband not guaranteed till connected". Does this infer that I can actually connect earlier than the specified connection time?

If the text was for Monday it should be before Monday 8pm, normally you can connect the modem up early and leave it up, it should pick up ADSL once it's active on your line (provided it's a Telecom provided one) - You should receive a text once it's all connected and ready to go.

Thanks Michael. I've connected the modem - it indicates there is a broadband connection but no Internet as yet. Will just have to be patient :)
