I got this far via the web page

Call *333 and follow the prompts.Great job, you're sorted!
However, I now need to know what all the prompts are via *333 to topup via Credit Card.

I have moved my wife (who is developing a cognitive form of dementia) to a prepay phone to manage her calling after she racked up a $600 monthly bill by using her mobile , so I need to have a step by step of all the prompts and responses required.

I can then create a instruction sheet for her to do her own topups herself, when she runs out of credit.

She will then be able to see a) how much it is costing her/us and also b) hopefully limit her calling.

I think it is easier to top up using your PC or smartphone, using a credit card.

From a PC, go to www.telecom.co.nz/ytmobile

From a smartphone, go to m.telecom.co.nz/yt

You can even top up someone's else Telecom prepay account.

I would suggest you check out skinny.co.nz

They are effectively a brand of telecom prepay who run a weekly billing sequence. Their Ussd codes work well for checking credit remaining, usage etc. To boot they offer attractive calling packages like 60mins per week for $4.

Just a heads up, so you may end up spending less and she might get the talking she craves!

So there is no Telecomer on here willing to help with a "step by step"

I don't have a Telecom SIM now so can't..

But I guess the most obvious question is why you're wanting to take the difficult approach? Using the web interface either on a PC or phone is a million times easier. As it seems you're wanting to simply the process I would have assumed this would be the approach you would want to take.
