I'm not sure when I stopped getting text messages notifying me of new voicemails, but I miss it a lot.

Have I accidentally turned off a setting for this somewhere?

I am using an S3 on an XT postpaid plan

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Best bet is to call *123 have them check the service is enabled for you and if it is they can trouble shoot =)

Haha thanks, should have been the obvious first step. I called them and the lady said she had reset one of the settings, so hopefully that has fixed it. I'm not sure why it would have turned off tbh.

Turns out that didn't fix it.. Had a dozen voice mails waiting for me yesterday without any sms notifications. Called back yesterday evening, the bloke said he refreshed something and it will work now, but it still doesn't. Do I just keep calling back?? Anyone from Telecom here able to look into it?

Was your S3 Telecom supplied? Has it ever worked on that handset?

And have you tried another?

It may be setup to give you a message icon notification rather than SMS - and that might not be working right with your handset.
