Unusual but can occur, get him to restart his phone, could be a jammed message in the network that may have gotten corrupted, can somtimes take 3 days to come right..

He always turns his phone off coz when he goes to work he turns his phone off and when he gets home he turns it on and yeah I think its weird too.  I rung Telecom up but didn't explain myself properly but yeah it only happens to us 2 which is odd.  They said there were no problems with my phone coz they had a look at my phone settings and everything appeared fine.

There's a fault with the Telecom -> Vodafone text gateway, if your friend is on Vodafone then that's probably your problem. The other direction seems to work fine, but Telecom->Vodafone works intermittently. As they don't guarantee texts between networks, the texts just disappear into a blackhole and there's not a lot you can do about it. Pretty pathetic in this day & age.

Hey,call up 0800-400-909 and press option 3 and ask them to take the TXT out and then put it back. Get it reprovisioned.
That will fix the issue...about the repair, Telecom will support the repair as it is there product and they will fix it for you.
hope it helps...

Hey, sounds like the profile issue and I will strongly suggest you call the helpdesk and ask them to send the case to WAP and get the profile of you number looked at. It can only change like that or by doing a number (027) swap with a new one..hope this will help.
