I'm not getting it either. Doesn't seem to think I have it installed on the phone. Are you getting as far as it asking for the code. Mine just tells me that I must first have it installed on my mobile, which I do.

Lumia 800 on Vodafone.

What ive done so far is de activated it.
Entered my number-no sms came but I rang the suggested number and got an access code that way. Ive just rung my son and my number came up ok.
Perhaps Ill wait for a few hrs and try the desktop version again-as you mentioned wanting the mobile to be installed but it is.
For some reason not recognising the number formatting im wondering??

The desktop authentication code will appear on your Viber mobile client, it doesn't rely on SMS. Once you activated Viber mobile you should be able to get the desktop code there.

It seems the desktop version needs some firewall support. Check that.

myopinion: Anyone else had problem trying to add some contacts to Viber's favourites list? Works for some and not others and i cant see what the difference is.

For an iPhone.

Please note this thread is about Skinny Mobile and Viber-not phone specific

Have you tried Kakao Talk?
Really simple to use, not very memory hungry like Viber.
More flexible than Viber too.

You just have to get past the asian theme and customise it to your own and in minutes you will say goodbye to viber ! I dont have as many call dropouts and fades with Kakao Talk than I do with Viber.
