Hello everyone...

So before I say my issue I want to make some things clear

Yes I have flushed dns
Yes I have pushed f5 and ctrl to refresh the page
Yes I have restarted my modem and router
Yes I have thrown my keyboard across the room and cried

Right

So... my problem

My website when loaded from only MY internet connection, displays a domain renew page... no matter what device is used to load it, if its my connection its a domain renew page. However the domain has been renewed,

For every other ISP, including my mobile when its on mobile broadband (Which is Vodafone) it loads fine.

In short, everything is working as normal for everyone else but me...

Other Telecom customers in other parts of the country have loaded fine, sadly I don't know anyone else in Christchurch to ask to try...

Someone said it could be a telecom cache dns thing but I don't actually know what that is... I really just want my website to load like it does for everyone else... after all it is my website.

Any theories or ideas?

Was this domain ever registered or hosted with Telecom before?

Nope my domain is hosted on a cheap hosting server on the states... nothing at all to do with telecom :| And everyone else can load it but me :(

in short - My website won't load on my home connection, it will only display a "renew domain page" but the domain has been renewed and works on other connections... just not on my home connection.

Check you computers hosts file. If you provide the domain , people here can check.

Have you tried contacting the host just to see if they have any ideas?

I don't know what a computer host file is :)

I will provide my domain temporarily but I will edit it out later, its www.mattyangel.com

I tried to tell the host and their solution was to use a proxy- not helpful at all.

It loads a parking page for me too, which says

This domain name expired on May 11 2012 09:43AM
Click here to renew it.

And lots of ads below it.

I am also on telecom. This tells me that it is a problem with telecom, and their network thinks that it is hosted by them, or it is a problem with their cache farm servers, which caches overseas website content. I have had problems with this before. Only telecom can fix this if it is a cache server problem.

You would have to phone them and ask to get put through to their New Zealand based server techs. There are some telecom people on here that may help. But it may also resolve itself in the next few days.

Can confirm it loads fine from Vodafone cable.

If it hasn't cleared up by tomorrow, try messaging plambrechtsen and I'm sure he can either fix it, or get the people who can to do so. I'd be surprised if its anything beyond a stale cache thou.

Sorry I'm not very good at all the computer stuff :) I use to be! But I kind of stopped keeping up with things after Windows 2000 :)

I just hope this fixes itself... its so very weird isn't it... if anyone knows of something I can do to make it work, please let me know :)
