Can anyone confirm for me whether Telecom Retail UFB connections are VLAN tagged / untaggd by default? Also, does UFB carry the same CoS tagging requirements that VDSL had?

I know that the UNI tagging is optional and that the only real advantage of tagged is the CIR. Without VoIP, untagged probably means far simpler support - so untagged makes sense to me for the majority of Telecom's customer base.

I'm planning a first deployment in this configuration and I don't want any surprises. Figure if anyone's provisioned one they're likely to be lurking here.

Cheers,

Tagged UNI is the default. An ISP has to request untagged.

All the details on this are publically available from a number of sources online so I'd suggest you use Google if you want to know more. Tags are not the same as EUBA is now.
