I'm just wondering what would happen if I try and connect this flash phone that I found... honest to goodness, I found it... but unsure of what might happen if I try and put my number on it... will I get in trouble???????

Welcome to Geekzone... If you found the phone, do the good stuff: drop it in a police station. If the owner registered it lost (or stolen) the police will return it.

If the phone was registered as stolen and you try to connect it then you will be in for some trouble.

The OP "found" the phone.
