Hiya,
I've got a 6600 (on the 12 month deal with telecom)
I'm needing some help with bluetooth. Like, how it works, and so on.
I think my phone is actually broken, because I cant get it to work. Apparently you're meant to be able to bluetooth with anything thats bluetooth enabled, and I can't bluetooth 021.
Also, can i send photos and ringtones between phones? Or can I just send my contact card?
Someone who has the 6600 would be best to talk to.
It's driving me insane! haha.
Cheers.

The Bluetooth on this handset is for Audio only, ie Bluetooth Headsets and Car Kits.

Its a short range (10 meters) wireless signal, that is free to use. There are different things you can do with bluetooth, like send files, pictures, connect to a car phone, let your laptop use your phones internet connection, and much more.

Both units connecting must support the same 'profiles' (e.g. for a headset to connect to your phone, your phone must support the 'headset' or 'handsfree' profile. To let your bluetooth laptop connect to the internet, your phone would have to support Bluetooth 'DUN' (dialup networking) profile.

Bluetooth is cell-network agnostic. It has nothing to do with 021 or 027. So any limitation you have is either:

range
a bug
a fault
some random incompatibility
lack of support for the profile used by one side (i.e. they didnt build that profile into your phone)

I suspect your problems arise from the last in that list.
