Is there any way you can put "message alerts" on one without having to deliver it using expensive wap?

Nah. What i need is the phone drivers so that bitpim is able to read the phone allowing me to send things to it.
Thanks though.

Here is where I got driver for USB port:
http://www4.sprint.com/pcsbusiness/support/downloads/index.jsp?internalId=downloads

I got Bitpim to work with my scp-6600 but it won't upload ringtones.   I'm looking for a program that will!
Let me know if you find one.

mmm... I think you'll find that butt plugging the phone won't help with the rigntone stuff... it's in low level Brew parts of the phone... locked away from bitpim and pretty much everything else...
