That's just a powerline plug, pumps ethernet over your internal power cables.

They can have issues with RCDs depending on how your house is wired.

But has nothing to do with if you can get ADSL/VDSL or UFB. As it's "LAN" side rather than "Internet" side.

I don't understand the question, sorry. You talk about VDSL, then you link to a Ethernet over Power adapter. These products are not related. VDSL provides WAN access over the phone line, EoP lets you connect LAN devices over your internal power cabling instead of running cat5.

yes i know what the product does thanks

so from what you have said

vdsl would come into the home , then this product makes its own little network to send the vdsl signal onwards to the tv/media player set up ?

The WAN type has no impact on LAN structure, so yes you can use these for your LAN devices, regardless of what your WAN connection type is. These are two separate entities, you will have a modem/router that connects the two together.

If the analogy helps clarify, it would be akin to asking whether you can use the elevator in the building, since you drove to the building in a van not a car today. Doesn't matter how you got there (internet connection type), once you're inside (the LAN), you can do what you like.
