Hi,

Anyone else getting an Outlook (or non-web client) login errors this morning on their "Yahoo! Xtra" email accounts?
I can login OK from their XtraMail web client, but Outlook refuses to accept my credentials even though they're the same

Pick in link here => https://cdn.geekzone.co.nz/imagessubs/29855633c6c8712eb8e377741ba9d10b.jpg

(OK so someone learn me how to embed pic directly into post)

Thanks

You just put [img][/img] tags around the URL for the image

Mine was working OK earlier this morning, not at home atm so can't re-check. Yahoomail android app seems fine, if that helps, and I can connect to Xtra's pop3 server fine.

Yep, also had intermittent problems on Friday.  error reported was server rejected user name/password (but then as I recall it was because of Internal Server Error).

Had a client with this issue yesterday. No idea what the cause was, but they changed their password before calling me, so I never got the chance to see if it would have sorted itself out.

I was getting that error the other day too. There was a Windows update for Outlook which I installed and has seemed to fix the problem for me so far

Advice? Should be advise. ;-)

It's been a problem (yet again) since about Friday (I think that's when I received the first report from a customer). Seems to have been sorted for some, but not all. I have an Xtra email account used solely to monitor progress when these issues arise and it's still having problems.

I really think Telecom should move their mail hosting back away from YoohooDoesItEverWork, but hey....

If I had the access, I'd try and fix that typo, but alas I do not. Seeing as the message will likely change again as they fix the issue, I'll not harass the online team (yet!).
