This may be a moot question.
I note that telecom are launching 4G very soon.
Seeing that Skinny is sort of based on Telecom network is there any likelihood that Skinny customers will be able to have 4 G connects at some stage??

PaulBrislen: Skinny is not separate from Telecom, it's a brand within Telecom. It operates seperately, While Telecom NZ Ltd. own Skinny, Skinny has its own offices, staff (including their call centre) and systems, and they get to choose all their own prices, products, services and the like.
Don't confuse it with a virtual network operator, because it's not. It's just marketing.
Its Just like any virtual network operator, however they are owned by Telecom
I guess its kindof like Qantas and Jetstar
If telecom $19 customers can have it why cant Skinny $16 customers

psychrn: As expected reply from Skinny via a support querry of mine a day or so ago.
No they will not have support for 4 G initially but may do later on
sbiddle: Considering LTE only offers data services and everything else requires fallback I'd be very surprised if they had any short (or medium) term plans for it. LTE is a premium offering.
