Does anyone know if I can configure the TG589vn v2 VDSL modem so that events can be logged on a PC?  I cant see anything in the settings but maybe there is a way it can be done from the command line?  The on-device log seems to store only a very small number of events.  I am wanting to log the DSL link up/down events over a longer period of time.

I believe you can send syslogs to an external host from Technicolor modems. Just bear in mind I'm pretty underwhelmed by the logging quality on these devices. Suggest you have a fiddle around in the CLI to see if you can get it going.
