Just noticed when I went to change my data plan on my iPad that the $29 Prepaid Data block ongoing is showing as 3GB instead of 1GB. The One-Off extra is still showing 1GB, as well as the 3GB data block still showing for $49. Purchased it and got the 3GB of data added straight away.

Checked on my Pay Monthly account and still only the 1GB options

An upcoming promotion maybe, or just someones made a mistake?

just looked on the iPhone app. it is 3gb on there too and it has terms and conditions 1.5GB to 3GB double data promotion ends 31st January 2014. So looks like it's a promotion.

You would have to be an idiot to buy the $49 data.

Are you on prepaid? Checked it out my Mum's iPhone app and only shows 1GB only ($19 Smart One Bill) bit disappointing if it's going to miss out the Pay Monthly customers.

Just noticed it's prepaid only (as per the link above), so Prepaid gets Unlimited Calls to landlines and Telecom Mobiles over christmas as well as cheaper data and Pay Monthly gets missed out :(

Pay monthly will probably have different promotions.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I hope so... pay monthly seems to look less and less appealing some months :/

If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

Pay monthly hasn't been appealing for a very very long time IME. Just buy the phone, go on prepay and network hop as the deals get better and better.

I'm on $39 open term, 300 minutes 1 gb data and unlimited txt, whats wrong with that, sometimes the grass just isn't greener or worth changing to save a couple of perceived dollars

Thats probably one of the better plans, there are plenty of way worse ones where the additional cost over prepay doesnt get anywhere near covering the handset subsidy over the length of the term.

I got a text from Telecom today saying I get 50MB free with my $12 text plan. I don't have a smart phone so I wont use it.
