For many years i have been able to successfully stream movies and tv shows through many sites for example ch131.com and 1channel.ch

from my own home but for the past few weeks for most links i get an error message when trying to load the video "wrong ip" or "error 200

stream not found". I know for a fact there is nothing wrong with my laptop as i am able to connect the internet at uni on the same sites

stream fine but as soon as i get home and try i get the same messages and videos do not load.

I am just wondering if anyone has had, or is experiencing the same problem?

Could it be possible telecom are blocking these streams?

also youtube videos work fine.

thanks,

No, Telecom is not blocking.

Those service offer pirated content. They're simply disappearing. The second one doesn't exist anymore. The first one references domains that were taken down.

Instead of automatically thinking a provider is blocking someone's pirated sources, people should think these sources just disappear with time.

I believe some channels domains got hijacked and owner lost control from what I read on web

the other ones they probably started to block ips at their own domain level to stop some countries monitoring them.. perhaps countries with Strike systems in place.

try a proxy or vpn and see if get same errors.. always handy for checking stuff when you suspect NZ ip is being block

often NZ is lumped with Asian IP blocks by mistake
