I tried to use Txt a park to pay for my parking in the Plimmer Tower parking building in Wellington yesterday at 15:12. I got the txt reply "I'm sorry, Txt-a-Park for this parking provider is currently unavailable to Telecom NZ subscribers".

It could be a problem with all providers, or just telecom, or a monentary problem. Anyone know what's up?

Who is the parking provider? Did the machine say it supported Telecom?

These aren't WCC machines that support credit card, txt-a-park and Snapper.

Worked for me on Airedale St in Auckland yesterday from my Telecom mobile, so I'd say it's the specific parking/payment provider there that's the issue.

Tournament. It's worked before for me. I'll email them.

The answer, from Tournament parking.

"Text to Park is only available to Vodafone customers. Unfortunately we are unable to link both providers to this service. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused."
