I got an email from Telecom inviting me to register for a 4G SIM. I clicked the link which took me to

http://store.telecom.co.nz/mobile/4g/?cid=em274d

I entered my phone number (which starts 021), chose my phone type, and it sent me to this page

http://store.telecom.co.nz/mobile/4g/4g

Which says "Sorry, we could not find the page you were looking for."

How about Telecom fix this up then send the email out to everyone again to let them know when it's working.

Separate question: is there any downside to this SIM type? Either inside NZ or roaming?

The quickest way is to chat with them on the phone or online. I registered via the form and didn't receive my SIM.

Yeah but I can do online requests more easily at work than calling up.

Use the online chat function as I mentioned above. It's so much easier and quicker. I got my SIM 2 days after chatting online.

I did this a day or two ago and it worked fine.

I tried another link in the email, it took me to a generic 4G page, which had a link to get a 4G SIM. I clicked it, went through, and it worked. I didn't submit it because by then I was on the phone, and because HW above said the online form didn't work.

The phone call took 15 minutes, 90% of it waiting on hold, part music part a variety of ringing tones. That's why doing things online is easier.

Roaming - no difference. As noted in some of the other threads not all of our APNs have been enabled for 4G yet, or if you have any Gen-i services you will need to talk to your account manager about this.

My comments and remarks are not necessarily of my employer.

Didn't work for me the day the email arrived and still doesn't :/

If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.
