Hi all,

I have a query about the user name that should be used on a Draytek VDSL2 modem.

My customer has a static IP and runs Exchange on their server. Previous ADSL modem had xxxxx.xadsl@xtra.co.nz as user name. Is that required for the VDSL2 credentials too?

The Telecom website hints that user@xtrabb.co.nz is the one to use...

Thanks

Either of the two you supply will work.

Thanks very much. Would you also be able to check something relating to the SMTP service on that account. Can I PM you?

No worries if not - I can always go via the normal 'faults' line.

Yes, you can PM me and I can do my best to try to assist - I have read access to many things, but not write! :)

If you do it online or ring the broadband helpdesk on 0800 225598 you can get SMTP Port 25 unblocked or blocked. As that isn't controlled by your username anymore. It's based off the network configuration.
