They call it the Sanyo SCP-6600 "Katana" ...funny, I was told it was called "Ice" ...anyway. I have the 6600 model and cannot find a data cable on trademe that supports this phone. Any ideas before I consider ordering one from overseas? Seems odd that no one here sells them.

Any help would be appreciated.

What do you want to acheive with the cable. The reason the cable is not popular here is that I beleieve there is not much you can actually acheive with it.

Katana is the Sprint name for the 6600, while ICE is the Telecom New Zealand name.

Anyway a quick search of TradeMe, and I have found at least one for sale.

Thats a good question.
What you do want to use the cable for?

Any sanyo cable will work for the 6600.
From the 8100 to the 3100 to the 9000 they all use the same Data cable.

further to the other posts, beware on buying a cable for the 6600 as there is NO software for this model phone, the phone does not support files transfer/pict bridge/ or dialup networking.
