Hi,

How do I set Telecom Mobile voice-mail forwarding numbers?

E.g. "When I don't answer", "When I'm busy" & "When I can't be reached" numbers? it seems to just ignore my new settings and doesn't save them - have Telecom blocked the ability to update these numbers?

Cheers,
Phill

Hi there it is my understanding that these are only available to be changed if you are on a post paid plan, prepaid customers don't have the ability to call forward to anything but the voicemail service

Login to http://www.telecom.co.nz/ytmobile and you can set the numbers in there.. but if you divert to the non voice mail number I think you get charged and I don't know if it works with prepaid but see how you go.

I can't seem to see how to enter a custom number?

Seems like you can't set it when you are prepaid. In postpaid you can set it to any number.

I have prepays and I can CFD All to any where I like but as Peter says Post pay has more options.

Well that really sucks that prepay customers can't change the number!
So there isn't any way around this?

No. It's a restriction of the way prepaid is billed which *may* be changed if/when pre and postpaid are put onto the same billing platform however its not seen as a service that is relevant to prepaid customers so I wouldn't hold my breath :(

Unsure you would need to ask someone from them but I would assume they do not based on the same reasoning. I'm not very familiar with skinny's systems and how they interact with us sorry...
