Just a quickie, anyone able to give a heads up on when there will be another wave of 4G upgrades - I'm happy with 3G where I am but I'd love to be able to get a 4G signal where I live (Avalon) and work (Johnsonville).

Can't make any official responses as to when and where. But the build is ongoing and now with the 700mhz range auction done and dusted I can see further build activities will start. All of this is capital constrained so feel free to use as much overage as you can. :)

Not looking forward to 700Mhz being launched as it'll be incompatible with the existing iPhone 5S hence me holding out for more 1800Mhz sites coming online or at least Apple launching a APAC 700Mhz compatible version in time for 700Mhz launch in NZ.

Bugger, I always thought that my iPhone 5S supported 700MHz, but looking up the model number (A1530) it only supports LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 38, 39, 40: 2100, 1900, 1800, 850, 2600, 900 MHz, 800 DD, TD 2600, 1900, 2300). Only the A1533 supports LTE bands 13 and 17 (700b and 700c).

Noodles:  Only the A1533 supports LTE bands 13 and 17 (700b and 700c).

And even that is not compatible. We'll be using band 28
