I'm supposed to have Vdsl connected with telecom today, moving from Vodafone adsl.
Chorus came and went but the telecom router gets adsl sync with Vodafone.

How is this even possible. Have spoken to chorus a coupe of times since they left and they insist they did the swap at the cabinet.

how do you define an adsl sync?

are you possibly looking at speed tests to come to that result?

Telecom router say it has ADSL sync.
WAN IP and gateway are still Vodafone not Telecom.

Have currently plugged Vodafone router in so that I can use internet again. (Vodafone require registered router)

If Chorus have done the Cabinet switch properly is it even possible to get ADSL sync?

Yes it is as in many cases it is the same card that delivers either service type (system programming reconfigures its operation)- their 'Service Order' may have indicated not to change ports

/edit for clarity
