Hi,

I was reading on another forum that if we plan on doing any port forwarding we would need to request a public IP from bigpipe? I just wanted to open up some ports for remotely viewing IP cameras, at the moment it seems my WAN IP address is different to my local IP address, it might be something even more simple like changing an IP address somewhere on my router but I'm not quite sure, just wondering if anyone has experience with this?

They are using http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrier-grade_NAT as they don't have a large ipv4 address space (ipv4 space is pretty much exhausted for new entrants), so yes you will need to request a public ip address be assigned to your connection for connecting to your wan ip & port to work correctly from another network,

All set up and working now, been really impressed with the speed of service from bigpipe so far! :)
