Hi guys, I've waited for years now for them to start laying fibre in our area, it just hasn't happened yet.

Chorus maps, says that plans are still being developed for our area, while areas less than 2km away already have UFB already.

Does anybody here know anything?

We are located in Pine Avenue, in Henderson Valley.

Thanks

Similar situation here....  within 1km either side of us, time frame has been given.... yet we're in a black hole for UFB. Gave up trying to find out when, and jumped on VDSL.

I'm in the same boat - no dates yet so I assume we will be post-2016. All the houses on the hillside opposite me (just a few hundred meters away) have it, as it's a new subdivision. My sister, a few streets away, also has it, as she's just a few doors down from a school. I'm in the Bayview/Glenfield area of Auckland. I also went for VDSL, as it would otherwise be a very long wait. I guess it could be worse... the houses on the ridge above us can't even get VDSL.

I live in a UFB hole - almost all around us is getting wired up - looks like we are at least 2 years away.
