It's hard to put it down to anything. First of all I am not on unlimited. I did however receive a new modem (the Huawei) to fix Windows 8 DNS problems. I did go on a 2 week holiday and just returned.

Is the internet slower nowadays?
Not sure if related but last night trying to stream SD video clip from my other computer (both on wifi) - very laggy, once I had to stop watching.

The bandwidth, the router, something else?

Perhaps run a speedtest on both to get a broadly equivalent result. There can be a natural variation but both should be close

I've noticed no degradation, in fact if anything it's been better recently. (Edit: And I have moved to unlimited)

I am the last house on the copper wire on VDSL, so i get a lot of errors anyway, but nothing like this. Here's some stats-

Downstream SNR (dB)  12.1                                         Upstream SNR (dB)  12
Downstream line attenuation (dB) 23.7                         Upstream line attenuation (dB) 53.8
Downstream output power (dBmV) 18.6                        Upstream output power (dBmV) 8.1
Downstream CRC 371                                                  Upstream CRC 30
Downstream FEC 0                                                      Upstream FEC 14

sometimes you can get normal speed test but due to bandwidth congestion, a slow internet, or is not that possible?

I just noticed in your first post you said "both on wifi" - have you tried it via ethernet? I wasn't overly impressed by the wifi performance on the HG630 (reminds me of a fritzbox...).

I think you could be right, my 2 symptoms combined, and the normal speedtest, points to wifi.
