Have a little problem, but it's not a biggy,

Last Wednesday, I noticed I could not get a balance or any reply txt to 333, so I did a backup from Titanium and the same, so did a hard reset and the same, then I remembered I have another Telecom sim, put that in and texted "bal' to 333 and got a reply, so its not the phone, tried in different area and ok, not the cell site.

Also tried in a old Vodafone phone and primary sim, no txt reply, spare sim does get a txt reply???

The Sim/phone works fine with calls, txt, pix, surfing etc

So, does my Sim need to be replaced or has the Sim been blocked from texting 333 ??.

Atrix 2 on prepay.

Cheers

Isn't Telecom's whole prepay balance and topup system down due to the system upgrade?

As Steve says, it's due to a system upgrade listed on telecom.co.nz

Yes it is, but this started on Wednesday, I still get a reply on spare sim "sorry this service is currently unavailable" and nothing at all on primary sim.

Just an update on my "can't receive telecom system texts"

Went into Telecom shop yesterday, there friendly staff had a look and tried various things, no go, suggested I ring Telecom 0800#.

Talked to someone this evening (very friendly and helpful CSR) she rang back as there technical team had a quick look or what ever it was and was not sure, said a lot of changes to prepaid system has happened over weekend, but problem started Wednesday 8th May before system changes.

So I'm clueless, the experts don't know, maybe it might just come right in a week or so, if not I will just have to port off to someone else.

I'm don't spend much on mobile anyway.
