Hey all,

I'm wondering if there is anyone from Telecom who would be able to assist me with an issue I have with mobile.  I've tried the usual channels (phone, online chat, going to the wrong department) but this has still resulted in me not having mobile phone service for a week now.

I'm getting desperate and I'm reaching out for some help, if possible.

I did see the post regarding who the Telecom guys on this forum are, but it appears it's 3 years old so not sure of how up to date it is.

If anyone can get back to me, I'd really appreciate it.

Cheers,

A.

I'm sure some information about the issue you are having is likely to come in handy if/when a rep does come along, they're usually pretty regular and helpful here.

Have you tried just visiting a store?

Ah yes,

I cannot get to a store as the nearest one is about 60K away and I am tied up at work all day, but basically my issue is that on a recently ported number I've tried to change from pre-pay to contract and that's where the problem started.

Port was successful and everything great for a couple of weeks, but changing the plan to contract has failed repeatedly.  No one can tell me why. This was a week ago today.

I'd be happy to go back to pre-pay if it means I can use my phone again.

Thank you for the reply :)

Flick me an email "pl at telecom.co.nz" and I am sure I can find out what's going on. Please include as much information (mobile number, Sim Card Number, Account Number) as you can :)
