Hey guys, i just got vdsl installed at my place about two weeks ago.
I know there's a 10 day period in which there may be disconnections and other unstable symptoms...
Well I am still experiencing disconnections and after a 24 hour monitoring service telecom did for me, they tell me on their side my connection was never disconnected...

Which made me think... What could be wrong? The technician was supposed to call my cell this afternoon but no one called, so I guess i wont be enjoying the internet during the weekend.. :'(

Any ideas? Anyone? I have a playstation and a pc both connected to the router via ethernet. The internet gets disconnected randomly (both gets disconnected form the net) as frequent as every 10mins. But it comes back online within 10 seconds.... The internet icon thing on the bottom right of the screen gets a red "X" then goes into a spinning circle thing "O" indicating its doing something and then comes back online...

ARGH SO FRUSTRATING!!

no sign of this before the vdsl installation too...................................
is there a way to diagnose the problem on my own? the modem lights are the same (internet and port icons flash constantly) even during the disconnections... so not sure if the modem's faulty

HELP ME!

have you tried restarting your router (unplugging your router from the wall for 10 seconds, then plug it back in)

The icon is not an Internet icon, it is an Ethernet icon and red x indicates that the device is disconnecting from the LAN. Replace the patch lead first may be.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Assuming both are plugged straight in to the modem, it could indicate the modem is rebooting. Power issue?

hmmm yeah they are both plugged straight to the modem and the modem is directly connected to the wall (both power and ethernet).
the lights on the modem are constant when the disconnection happens,

thanks for the tip though.
