Ok I've searched and can't see anything in forums on this but I am nearly out of data so wanted to get a one off data add on but there is no option on my phone or Mytelecom web page.

I see its strill advertised so am I missing something here?

You're best to phone them or try their live chat on their website (since it is peak time for call centres) and get them to enable it for you.

Live chat offline so have emailed them.

You can just add any extra you want, and after it's added to your account update it to turn the auto renew off.

yes I could do that but would rather use the one off add ons that I used to when I needed to.

the "one off's" have been removed, you need to buy the monthly the stop it renewing, achieving the same result

It would seem they have been but haven't, as yet, removed from their advertising hence asking the question. Yes i am aware you can add a monthly but as previously said I would rather have the " one off"

"Need more data? Grab an Extra

Running low on data? Want more flexibility? Just top-up your plan with a Data Extra.

Extras are an add-on to your plan. It’s easy to set them up, straight from your mobile. So, whether it’s a one-off or a regular Extra that renews each month, you can always have the data you need."

well emailed Sunay night , got an automated reply with some suggestions that didn't even remotely get close to my issue and nothing heard since.

I have had to get the monthly addon which annoys me as I'll probably forget to cancel and I don't normally need any extra data

Don't think that that hasn't occurred to them. What annoys me is that the regular monthly allowance isn't used before the extra data goes live.

noticed that but I only had 30mb left.

Yes I had that thought as well but was/am happy to give benefit of doubt but I'll ring tomorrow and see what excuses they have

I see it is still on their website but not able to get it. frustrating

As I said above you can add the desired extra, and then update the extra to not renew straight after it's been added to your account. It's easy in the Smartphone app, just tap on the Extra and click "Stop". Thats all you need to do to make the Extra one-off.

Hope that helps.
