SMS from France dont get through

I am experiencing an issue with getting texts from France. Texts to Telecom numbers don't arrive but same texts to VF do.
Any info would be appreciated.

Possibly the provider in France doesn't have an agreement with Telecom. From memory I couldn't send SMS messages from Bouygues Telecom to Telecom NZ when we were in Paris in 2007.

Thanks I will check that out. I have also been told maybe its because of number portability as my mobile is 021 but on Telecom account.

I was told this was an issue as well in the past (years ago). I don't know whether this is applicable or not in your situation. My problem was the overseas telco did not recognize 2Degrees - (021).
