I ordered an iPhone 6 64GB space grey Saturday. $79 open term, 24 months interest free.

I heard nothing from Spark other than the email advising the order was accepted.

To my suprise phone turned up half an hour ago with courier.

I opened it up, and connected to itunes to sync. Only 11gb available??? Bit strange.

Checked the paperwork and it turns out a Spark employee entered the wrong phone when processing the order.

I thought OK I will ring up, surely I can pop into the local store and get it swapped over due to the circumstances.

No, apparently not. In fact I was told I couldn't even have the phone on an open term until I pointed out I had ordered it before they changed the rules.

I was told I could either go in store, sign up to a 24 month contract and get a phone or wait 3-7 business days for them to send out a replacement phone and I have to return the 16GB one they sent by mistake.

This is very poor from Spark, it's their fault, you would think they could sort something out with my local store but apparently not.

Anyway for those that do receive a phone today, fingers crossed you get the right one and if you ordered a 16GB space grey and receive a 64GB YOU HAVE MY PHONE......

This is probably due to lack of stock at the moment. They did this with the other iPhone releases too, you were only meant to be able to buy a new iPhone if you signed up for 24 months. It was human error, mistakes happen and I'm sure once there is stock they will be able to sort it out.

same thing happened to me, except I am resign on a contract and there are no phone in stock in local stores so I need to wait for a replacement.  Lucky I did not open it.  Pretty annoying and it only arrived at 4pm via courier so not much I could do about it!

No, phones are in stock, I asked. They must have a computer that won't let them do anything but stick to the program. Order online, fixed online, no leeway or common sense.

And the misery continues.

Spark have now decided to transfer my number to the new SIM without being asked to so I now have no service at all. I can't use the new SIM at the moment as it is locked up at work.

All of the info sent stated the number would be transferred on the 3rd October unless you call the 0800 number before that time.

Bit frustrating, another call to Spark I guess.

That doesn't surprise me at all; out of my four "activations" with Telecom/Spark over the years, three of them have been messed up in one way or another. Fortunately the most recent was the easiest to sort out, but still...

Have you had anymore luck with Spark?  I got a phone call on Saturday saying that they could not approve my order as you could only order 1 at the moment.  When I explained that the new order was a replacement for the wrong size sent out they finally said it was ok.  Asked via twitter this AM if they had an ETA but was told is was awaiting credit approval - still waiting for another reply, it should not need approval since it is replacing their stuff up.  I was hoping it would be a priority, but obviously not. I am not mad, just frustrated with the process.  I could have gone to a store and got what I needed instead of the pre-order!

Well it is official, the Spark iphone 6 launch is now as bad as the VF iphone 4S launch. I have just been advised my replacement phone is NOT in stock as I was told and there is NO eta on when it might arrive. I cannot believe how incompetent this whole launch has been. It appears you can speak to one CSR, hang up and speak to someone else and get a completely different response. I've already told them I want a full credit for this month and next month as well if the phone does not arrive. "Yes you have a valid point, ring us to discuss it when the replacement arrives" - CSR.

There are a lot of whiny iPhone 6 posts on here but I must admit you have been pretty hard done by.  I feel sorry for you and hope Spark sort it out soon.
