Found this in my news feed this morning.  If it happens I wonder how much of the call center moves to Indonesia??

"Spark Telecom"? Do these reporters do ANY research?

From what I've seen from another source, they're looking for a mobile operator, with little or no interest in fixed line type services. That would make me think, if there is anything happening, it would be one of the other players, not Spark, but who knows...

Wasnt this same article doing the rumour rounds a couple of months back with 2 degrees being mentioned rather than spark?

http://www.telecompaper.com/news/telkom-to-acquire-stake-in-new-zealand-mobile-operator--1041087 seems to be a bit less "dodgy" with the facts.  Apparently Telkom won't confirm which operator, only that they have a binding NDA.  And that they're only doing it to get a foothold and take over the call centre industry in Australia (lolwut)

If it was Spark, they wouldn't need to be 'in talks'  they could just buy the shares if they wanted to, since it is a publicly listed company.

Most likely 2D

The Telkom CEO does not appear to understand the NDA clearly in this article..... http://www.antaranews.com/berita/451300/telkom-bidik-pasar-selandia-baru&usg=ALkJrhj31fD6laH-U3qAP4cOtEBzievzCA
