Having two sets of standard rates and different overage rates is going to confuse people.
You've advertised this on facebook, alot of people are just going to assume they can call using the new rates, without knowing they have to opt in. People arent gonna be happy about it and you will get alot of complaints. So heres what I think you should do:
LivingSkinny: Standard Rates have changed as of 17th October for new customers from:
8c per text to 20c per text
bigpipe.co.nz

https://twitter.com/BigPipeNZ
BigPipeNZ: you can still get unlimited SMS for $8/month. even at 8c you only needed to be sending 100 SMS each month (not very many) before that becomes worthwhile.
timestyles: since Vodafone put up their charges (90c to $1 per min)

Sorry to be pedantic, however the time stamp for the creation of this thread is 19-Oct-2014 21:58, whereas the one you link to was created at 20-Oct-2014 09:04, so this thread is nearly half a day older. An expression involving pots and kettles come to mind, although clearly the scope of the other thread is wider.
