WHy is it that sometime you get voicemail when the phone actually never rang?

It's a pain because I have no credit to check voicemail.

Yes yes i know you can turn it off etc I'm not asking about that thanks

Perhaps your phone had weak or no signal at the time the call was made to you? Get dropouts at times around the house where we are. Just in an unlucky spot between cell towers I guess.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Your data usage must have been sucking the voice channels dry.

Because calls dont come thru everytime on a mobile phone for many reasons.

If you dont want people leaving voicemails, skinny is the only telco (to my knowledge) to let you stop it recording messages, so you can put in your outgoing message to send you a text or email and then it will just disconnect the call instead of recording. Win/win IMO.

Noticed that myself with a Skinny, "Data connection" = on and calls kept dropping out. (Even though I wasn't even using data for anything at the time
Very frustrating

"Data connection" = off - all good

Still wondering if it's the network or the handset. Might be something tweakable...
