YEAH!!

Finally saw the sign up for Static IP.

Was I the first? Who knows? Who cares?

Just great news that it is finally here and at a one off fee of $45.00 - good value. Well done BigPipe!

Must be a sign of the changing times that $45.00 is a good deal for a static.

Cool - much nicer to have a one off fee than a monthly as some providers charge

Better than a monthly fee smile

No, you weren't. I saw it yesterday. I also saw the post yesterday from Bigpipe which was removed for some reason soon thereafter.

I've had my order in since Friday :) Static hasn't been assigned yet, but hopefully it will be today. Two days too late, so it's costing me another $100, but at least it's finally here!

Now we can focus on subnets and IPv6.

Turns out this had been done, but for some reason the e-mail notifying me got stuck either somewhere between the Orcon SMTP and POP3 servers, or fetchmail was unable to connect out to Orcon. Another mail from the Orcon account this morning has also just come through.
