Lats: can phone be used as modem or something?
mobygeek: According to my boss, we used to be able to print out your contacts, and put them on disc for you, but, as I said, according to said boss, can do no more...
...Cos Telecom said so...
We use to be able to upload them to the internet also (customers has their own transfer account), so we could just download them for a customer when they lost or had their phone stolen. I keep hearing rumours that this could be on its way back...
Time will tell.

Laz: Thats correct. You are able to save the contacts on the sim card although the sim is limited to 250 contacts.
Although possible, I do however not recommend unlocking the sim as this voids the warranty. Also following on from the new upgraded firmware the new codes are not available on the internet.
mobygeek: Laz - been away on hols, and the contacts manager has a few new extras to it, tho' I haven't had too many different phones on it to see what is available for what phone. However, we use the telecom synapse contact manager, and as far as I know there are no provisions for downloading or uploading contacts...
Of course, I just do as I'm told here... (and believe what I am told...) Much more peaceful...
