Hi,

I am having issues with some of my customers accessing some (secure) parts of websites,

for example, bringing up Trademe is fine, but signing into trade me times out, going to Westpac home page is fine, but logging into accounts timesout.

Page has become unresponsive is the message you get or not available.

This issues has been happening over 4 days now, I have more than 3 customers having similar issues, some Spark and Vodafone clients.

I have done all the basics, like swapping out modems, check date and times on devices for SSL requirements. ....

Also connecting my phones 4G connection via Hotspot to the effected clients, everything runs well.

Phoned Spark, got thru to 2nd level support, they are dumb founded. Apparently they forced a IP address reset on clients connection but to no success.

Any one else out there having issues similar?

ps, I have even tried changing DNS settings in modem to OpenDNS/Google's.

I guess I just want to know if this is turning into  a big issue or not, as the ISP's is not going to do anything about it.

If this is happening on both Spark & Vodafone then it's unlikely to be an issue on our network.

But if you email me "pl at spark.co.nz" with the line numbers of the customers and the sites you are trying to unsuccessfully login to over https.

Hi,

I'm just wondering if this was resolved.

Must of been a glitch with ISP. As it sorted it out after complaints.

Such an issue is normally MTU related, and normally caused by end users setting an incorrect MTU setting in their router. Seems this may be a slightly different cause though.
