Hi, so I was looking as getting a new Medem/Router combo yesterday to replace my Technicolor TG582n which was provided by Telecom a few years back. I did some digging around the house and found my old router (Cisco EA4200) and spent ALL day yesterday trying to get this to work as intended:

 

I am trying to set the modem to function only as a modem and the router to do NAT, QOS, Wireless, etc.

 

The Technicolor has an option to go into Bridge mode, but when I do this it deletes the ability to enter PPPoA details so I can't see in this mode how the Router will get connectivity?

 

The router has a few options: Auto (DHCP (something like that)) PPPoE Telstra Cable And some VPN options such as PPTP.

 

What settings should I be using (for Spark ADSL2+)

I've been told this isn't possible but when I searched for help on it I saw a few people from NZ refer others to buying this router on Telecom/Spark network.

 

Please Halp, I've never spent some much time on something without success
