The Skinny iOS app was updated yesterday to version 1.0.38 and now it doesn't seem to work. When I launch it, I get a "welcome" screen inviting me to set it up, and a "Get Started" button that does nothing when tapped. Force quitting and relaunching the app has no effect. Has anyone else installed this update? Does it work for you?

iPhone 6 with OS 8.1.3.

We had an issue with loading of the promo images. This has been sorted so please try again now.

Could you try restarting your phone and failing that deleting and reinstalling the app?

Restarting didn't work, deleting didn't either. Now it just says 'Problem occurred while communicating with the server. Please try again later.

OK I have asked the developer to look into it. Seems to be an intermittent problem for some people whilst others are fine.

Sorry, same issue is still happening. Worked the first time then get this error.

Sorry, same issue is still happening. Worked the first time then get this error.

Oops sorry looks like I was a bit quick off the mark. A new version is still going through the Apple verification process.

I updated the app this afternoon and the app is still having the same issue. i.e. stuck on the Woohoo loaed! page or the Nice! You've downloaded our Skinny App.

The updated iOS App is now on the App Store - please try upgrading again. I'm sorry for the load issues with the last version.

I needed to delete the app and reinstall it for it to work. Working fine now.
